Hello Cutie Mud Mask

I am NOT a girlie girl but 

I do enjoy a good pamper every now and then. 

This mud mask was way fun to use 

and I will definitely be using it again.

I plan on adding it to my list of things 

to buy for friends when they need a pick me up.

I try to stay away from products that have a lot of ingredients but reading the label this mask is made up of pretty natural stuff. Definitely be careful if you are a breastfeeding mom that is sensitive to peppermint because it's get enough in there that you can smell it when you take the top off.

SantaMedical Professional Otoscope with Hard Case

This otoscope is pretty simple to use. I like that it comes with a few extra specula that appear easy to wash for personal use. I was able to see my husband's ear drum easily with this scope. It's not the best out there but I think it's a great value for the price.  

Every household with children should have an otoscope. Having one of these helps put parent's minds at ease while keeping emergency rooms available for real emergencies. These aren't hard to use if you get familiar with what normal, healthy eardrums and ear canals look like you can easily see if your child has an infection or perforated eardrum. 

I was actually sent the wrong scope at first. I messaged the seller and they straightened things out quickly and got me the right scope in no time at all.

Hummingbird Food Kit - All Natural / Clear.

This kit is AMAZING!

The only thing that would make this kit better would be if it came with a hummingbird feeder BUT you can easily pick one up for like $5-10 at your local hardware store. 

I love that it doesn't have any nasty stuff in it. Red dye is so horrible for humans, I don't even want to think what it is doing to all of the hummingbirds and bees. 

This is a great kit and I can't wait for it to warm up a bit 

outside so my boys can watch the hummingbirds and bees feed. 

We unschool so this will be a great way to teach them about wildlife that enjoy nectar.

FiveJoy Backcountry Shovel

This piece of survival equipment is so much more than a shovel. 

I am stoked to be able to add it to our bug-out bag. 

We go camping and hiking with our kids all the time and this is a great piece of equipment to help keep us ready for anything. 

   It took me a bit to be able to find all of the bits and pieces that it has but once I found everything I was comfortable using this tool. It's crazy how many amazing tools can fit into one shovel! It is a Shovel, Axe, Hoe, Saw, Hammer, Rescue Knife, Wire Cutter, Bottle Opener, Fire Starter, Whistle, Glass Breaker and has Paracord at the bottom.

I surprised my husband with this shovel for Valentine's Day. He loves it!

I think this kit is great! 

It takes the hassle out of wrapping your mind around how much food your body needs to thrive without needing a food scale. These containers can be easily taken on trips and travel or even camping. The lids lock on nicely so taking them for lunch would be easy.

I dig the instruction pamphlet that comes with the kit. It's got a nice list of healthy foods that fit into each category to help take the hassle out of making a grocery list. The food listed are all pretty great!

Window Mounted Cat Bed with Suction Cups

 This little window perch is perfect for our kitty. 

It's a way for him to get away from the kids and just chill for a bit. 

He enjoys laying in the window and watching the birds and bathing in the sun.

The page says it holds up to 70lbs but I don't know if I would trust it to that weight. 

The suction cups are not very easy to push on and they hold but only for so long. 

My cat likes it, even if he gets forcibly ejected now and then.

Silicone Ice Cube Tray

This is a great ice cube tray. We try to stay away from plastics with all of their nasty chemicals for health reasons. Silicone is a much better option for our family and this tray is great! 

The tray is easy to fill and the ice slides out quite nicely. It's perfect for freezing breastmilk in serving size cubes and making yummy jel cubes in as well!

  

We made some fun vegan and carrageenan free Bakol jel cubes with our new tray. They came out easily after soaking the bottom of the tray in warm water for a minute.

I can't wait to try baking some brownie cubes with it!

I used them to make myself a scalp blend. I have lupus and it negatively effects my connective tissue. Your skin is your largest organ but it's also connective tissue. Tiger's Eye & Silver Toe Rings, 'Insight'

These toe rings are awesome! I have chunky toes and finger so it is hard to find jewelry that fit me comfortably. This pair of adjustable toe rings fit me nicely without pinching. The Tiger's eye gemstones are a unique and beautiful touch! 

My middle little dude wanted to try one on and the ring was able to size down enough to comfortably and securely fit on his thumb as well.

The League of Scientists: Ghost in the Water

 

This book was entertaining, even for me. Bullying is something that most people can understand. Moving around a lot is something that tons of people can understand. Finding your niche is something a lot of people miss out on growing up. This is a fun book about growing up and finally finding the place you belong with science and friends. A great read for any young scientist.

Sleeping with Your Baby: A Parent's Guide to Cosleeping

 

 Cosleeping is natural and beneficial as long as you follow steps to insure everyone's safety. Definitely check this book out if you are interested in cosleeping or bedsharing with your littles. 

The only negative I have with this book is the ear piercing of the baby on the cover. Children should have a say in what cosmetic alterations are done to their bodies.

 We are constantly looking for fun children's books that are in tune with our attachment parenting style. This book meets our needs, hands down.
