We enjoyed this book a lot!
It is a quick look into a variety of plants and animals and how they fit into their particular environmental niches.

Each of the 10 species presented is accompanied by a poem describing something interesting about their adaptations.

I like that the book goes through many examples of how different species have evolved to take advantage of the environments that they live in. 

 My boys loved this book and it seemed to spark curiosity in learning about different creatures in our world. We unschool so this book created a nice place to start talking about  evolutionary mechanisms which brought these different species to evolve.

I think Evolutionary Tales a great resource and will be recommending it to all of our homeschooling friends.
